BioMy name is Jen Lehmann. My life has changed a lot in the last six months...I got married this summer and moved to Accident, Maryland from Phoenix. I had lived in Phoenix for three years, and San Francisco for four years before that. I grew up in Napa, California.
This May, I earned my Master's in Children's Literature from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA. I entered the program to study children's literature and took the writing classes to try something new. It worked! My thesis for the program was a young adult novel about the daughter of Rapunzel (that needs a lot of work before I seek publication, but it's a goal.) I taught 3rd grade for seven years and am on substitute teacher lists here now, but am at a flexible moment professionally. Again, I'm in a position to try something new, and educational writing seems like it could be a good fit, so I'm grateful and excited to have this opportunity!
